Peer Pressure

Illustrating Focus on the Family's Hacks & Facts page, Vicky Scott creates a papercraft artwork on peer pressure.

The article describes situations that parents have experienced where their child has made poor choices about how they treat their peers, and tips on how they enabled their child to act more fairly the next time they were in that scenario.

Vicky chose to focus on a story about a teenage girl who tells her family how she was being mean to the new girl at school, much to the horror of her Mum! Vicky says, "I decided to elaborate on the tale and make it a choice between good and bad - so we've got the bad girl on the left with all the children running away from the new girl, lots of darker colours and miserable weather, and on the right bright colours, sunshine and the 2 girls being friends."
