John Holder draws a joyful Country Life Magazine scenario

Christmas Sterotypes

An spirited scene is illustrated by John Holder for a festive Country Life Magazine issue.

Being a regular for Country Life Magazine, John really knows what the readers love! He was tasked with creating a busy festive social scene containing all sorts of stereotypes for their Christmas double issue.

Set in a local country pub, several characters celebrate Christmas including a heavily pregnant Mary, the landlord and the Vicar, all nestled amongst fairy lights and tinsel.

The narrative and entertaining nature of the illustration means it's one that you can observe for some time, and enjoy the sheer energy of John's drawing.
