The Easter Egg Roll is the largest annual White House event and has taken place every year since the 1870s. Each year, a commemorative poster is produced, and given to the 20,000+ kids in attendance. Martha worked directly with the First Lady via her team and Chief of Staff on a poster theme of pastel colours, traditional Easter influences, flowers and topiaries. The art was printed on a 16x20" keepsake poster as a gift for the children in attendance, as well as used as the art for the official White House Easter program, and ticket. Martha explains the experience, "On a personal note, my family and I were invited to the White House for the event. We attended a private breakfast prior to the event in the White House with the First Lady and President, where I was thanked for creating the poster. My daughter spent her first Easter in the White House, having breakfast." (See photos below).
