Atelier Swarovski Event at The BAFTA Awards
Jacqueline Bissett spends a day drawing the Swarovski adorned BAFTA nominees at The Savoy Hotel in London.
The day began at 11am for Jacqueline who settled with her equipment in one of the Savoy Suites. BAFTA nominees also arrived early - to borrow dresses and jewellery for the red carpet and to have their portrait drawn by the wonderful Jacqueline if they wished! Later in the day, photos were taken on the red carpet of famous Atelier Swarovski wearers including Gwendoline Christie - (Game of Thrones, Star Wars) and Olga Kurylenko (the Quantum of Solace Bond girl). The photos were texted back to Jacqueline at The Savoy, where she sketched the beautiful ladies and their jewels. Jacqueline says "It was a great atmosphere and I met some wonderful people - animation producers, documentary makers- all very excited at the prospect of the glitzy evening....we finished about 8.45pm, a long but gratifying day!"
