Quincy Sutton

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Quincy was formally educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD), majoring in Illustration. His professional endeavor began as a caricature artist at amusement parks in Ohio, which led him to journey across the country in pursuit of a career in animation. Since leaving Ohio Quincy has gained professional experiences as a character artist, graphic designer, illustrator, fashion designer, and Art Director at companies such as Jerry Leigh, MGA Entertainment, Alpine Stars, Fox Entertainment, and The Walt Disney Company, Quincy now works as an illustrator and Portrait Artist living in Los Angeles, CA

Approach

Quincy has travelled the world looking for the perfect materials to work with, and uses paint markers, acrylics and ink on archival papers. Drawing live, he keeps it fun by bringing a touch of showmanship to the event through his attire while capturing each sitter’s likeness in less than 10 minutes.
