Inspiration from a photo I took a few months ago - a lady selling fresh catch tunas on the side walk, using Japanese textiles patterns, adding some elements from "Lễ hội nghinh Ông" festival which is a ritualistic event where fishermen in coastal provinces of Vietnam worship the Whale Deity. They all share the belief that the "Ông" (Whale) is a sacred sea creature, a savior for fishermen, and those whose livelihoods depend on the sea.
