“Amiga Ursa”, a book written by the genius Brazilian artist Rita Lee, tells the story of Rowena, a bear who was once called Marsha and came to Brazil as a victim of animal trafficking. For years, she was mistreated in circuses and zoos until she was rescued. Rita/Ms. Lee is one of the characters in the narrative, as well as a great guardian of all animals.
