Approach
For Jamie, images begin as thumbnails, knowing that if a composition works at a small scale it will be effective at any size. He typically uses pencils and inks to begin his drawings, coloring and editing them digitally. His palette is bold and dramatic, using warm and cold color combinations to build atmosphere.Style
Colorful, atmospheric and expressive, Jamie will adapt the style of his work to fit his brief. Character illustration is a specialty, bringing emotion to the narrative through facial expressions, posture and composition.
